Personal History I am 52 years old and have lived 40 of those years in Barrington Hills and Barrington. My grand parents on both sides lived next door in Barrington Hills. I built my home on Country Oaks Lane, and live here with my wife, Patricia, and dog, Newton. Hobbies: I work on cars, I want to break the world's land speed record, I make wood projects for my wife, I work with metal, I skywatch, I like to ride horses, I trap shoot, I used to go to the Indy 500 when I had season tickets, I like history and math, and love roller coasters and I love mowing my lawn on my tractor for relaxation. My biggest hobby is solving difficult problems. In my early years I worked for Alex MacArthur on his farm which is now owned by Fritz Duda, the developer who is seeking to disconnect hundreds of acres from the village for a high-density development. Work History President, Barrington Hills 2005 to Present Trustee, Barrington Hills Village Board, since 2000 - 2005. Roads & Bridges Commissioner, Village of Barrington Hills, since 2000. Founder and President, RGA Labs, Inc., Barrington Hills, since 1998 - Present. RGA Labs provides state-of-the-art engineering, research, development and prototype design of specialized systems in a variety of industrial and scientific fields including energy, nuclear power, and computing. Holder of a variety of patents in the field of high temperature superconducting. Author of many scientific publications. From 1981 to 2001, Commonwealth Edison. extensive management experience including working with management/union issues, dealing with government and regulatory agencies and developing innovative systems and solutions for business and technical problems.
