Mr. Schueppert’s claim that he could have ‘cut his own deal’ with Mr. Duda is absolutely false. This was never brought to the Board. In addition, his claim smacks of him making ex-parte communications without the approval of the Board. Mr. Schueppert should tell the public why he was communicating to Mr. Fritz Duda outside the Village’s effort; a person whom he claims he does not know and never met.

The Duda situation is well on the way in discussions to bring back both disconnected sections under BH zoning and septic. I am sure Mr. Duda is waiting to see the outcome of the election before progressing forward. Friends of Mr. Duda are raising money for Mr. Schueppert. This is certainly understandable and not a slam against Mr. Duda. The property is currently zoned Ag-40 acre and falls under the zoning jurisdiction of Barrington Hills and McHenry County. Barrington Hills has zoning jurisdiction because it is within the 1.5 mile statutory boundary and falls on the east side of the dividing line referenced in the Barrington Hills / Algonquin boundary agreement.
